SJK Mentorsy ("SJK Mentorsy," "we," "us"), with its principal place of business at Jagdish Colony, Rohtak, Haryana, India, provides live 1:1 online tutoring and mentorship connecting school students ("Learners") with expert teachers ("Mentors") for sessions in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, French, Coding and Public Speaking, including syllabus support, revision, doubt-solving, exam and competition preparation (the "Services"), delivered through our website and the third-party video/classroom tools we use (together, the "Platform").
By booking a class, creating an account, or using the Platform, you confirm that: (a) you have read and understood this Agreement and our Privacy Policy; (b) you are at least 18 years old and can form a binding contract; and (c) where a Learner is a minor, you are their parent or legal guardian and you consent to these Terms on their behalf. Minors may only use the Services under a parent's or guardian's registration and supervision. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. Questions? Write to support@mentorsy.in.
To use the Services you represent that you: are 18 or older (registering on behalf of your child where applicable); are not barred from using the Platform; are not a competitor using the Services for competitive purposes; will maintain only one account; will provide accurate, current information and keep it updated; and will arrange, at your own cost, the device, software and internet connection needed for classes.
To enroll, we ask for details such as parent and student names, contact details (email, WhatsApp number), grade, curriculum, subjects, country/timezone, availability, and relevant academic information, so we can match your child with a suitable Mentor and schedule sessions. You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for all activity under your account, and you agree to tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
We collect and store the information you provide in order to deliver the Services. On written request to support@mentorsy.in, we will share a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and/or delete it, within 60 days — noting that if you ask us to delete everything, we will no longer be able to provide the Services. You retain ownership of content and data you share with us, and grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide and improve the Services.
Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance, mentor training, safety, compliance and service delivery. With this Agreement you also grant us a licence to use excerpts of session recordings and feedback (audio, video, chat, whiteboard) for marketing and promotional purposes — for example on our website and social media. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to anonymise or obscure Learners' and parents' personally identifiable information in publicly shared content unless you give us explicit written consent to show identity. You may withdraw consent for future marketing use at any time by writing to support@mentorsy.in; withdrawal does not affect content already published.
The first trial class is free. Paid session packages, their prices and inclusions are communicated to you before purchase. Fees are payable in advance unless agreed otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or bank/transfer charges. Recurring plans, if any, renew until cancelled. Refunds and mentor replacements are governed by our Refund & Replacement Policy.
You agree to: comply with applicable laws; treat Mentors and staff with respect; attend scheduled sessions punctually or reschedule with reasonable notice; and use the Platform only for its intended purpose. You agree not to: record, resell, redistribute or publish class content without permission; share account access; harass or abuse any Mentor, Learner or staff member; attempt to bypass, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform; solicit Mentors for services outside SJK Mentorsy; or post or transmit unlawful, harmful or offensive content.
All Platform content — including lesson materials, worksheets, branding, graphics and editorial content — belongs to SJK Mentorsy or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your child's personal learning only.
You consent to receive Service-related communications from us by email, WhatsApp, SMS or phone at the contact details you provide. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time; service messages (like class reminders) will continue while you use the Services. Carrier charges, if any, are your responsibility.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach this Agreement, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if providing the Services to you is no longer viable; where reasonable we will notify you by email. You may stop using the Services at any time by writing to us; any eligible refunds are handled under the Refund & Replacement Policy.
THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WHILE WE WORK HARD FOR EVERY STUDENT, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC GRADES, SCORES OR OUTCOMES. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE PRECEDING SIX (6) MONTHS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS, IN WHICH CASE THEY APPLY TO THE MINIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.
You agree to indemnify and hold SJK Mentorsy and its team harmless from third-party claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of the Platform, inaccurate information you provide, or your violation of applicable law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved amicably; failing that, it shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended), with seat and venue at Rohtak, Haryana, India, conducted in English. Courts at Rohtak, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over matters not subject to arbitration.
We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the revised version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or on the Platform — continued use after changes means acceptance. If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in effect. This Agreement (with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Replacement Policy) is the entire agreement between us regarding the Services. These Terms govern the relationship between SJK Mentorsy and independent teachers and mentors ("Mentors," "you") who deliver 1:1 online sessions to Learners via our Platform in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts, French, Coding and Public Speaking.
You represent that you are at least 18, legally able to contract, and not barred from providing tutoring services. During onboarding we may collect your qualifications, subject competencies, teaching experience, availability, language fluency, government identification, and bank/KYC details ("Verification Information") solely to verify you, allot sessions, and pay you. Verification Information is stored securely and deleted within 30 days of your account ending. Allotment of subjects, Learners and sessions is at SJK Mentorsy's discretion. You will maintain only one Mentor account and provide, at your cost, the equipment and stable internet connection needed to teach.
In every session you agree to: be punctual and prepared; teach in a professional, patient and encouraging manner; align lessons to the Learner's curriculum and plan; introduce yourself, address Learners' questions, and communicate respectfully with Learners and parents; and follow SJK Mentorsy's teaching guidelines and child-safety expectations at all times. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate contact with Learners is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
Learner details, parent contacts, teaching materials, rates and business information are confidential. During your engagement and for twelve (12) months after it ends, you agree not to solicit, accept or provide paid tutoring to Learners introduced to you through SJK Mentorsy, other than through the Platform, and not to divert Learners or other Mentors to any competing service.
Your session fees are as set out in your offer letter or written engagement terms, and may vary by subject, grade, curriculum and model. Earned fees are tracked to your account and paid to your registered bank account or wallet per the agreed payout cycle; payouts normally reflect within 1–2 working days of processing. You must notify us of any missing payment within six (6) months of it accruing. You are responsible for your own taxes on amounts received. SJK Mentorsy may withhold or reverse amounts credited in error or where fraud, misconduct or breach of these Terms is suspected.
Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance, training, safety, compliance and service delivery. You grant SJK Mentorsy a licence to use session recordings and teaching materials created for the Platform for these purposes, and to use reasonable excerpts for marketing with personally identifiable information anonymised unless you consent otherwise in writing. Lesson plans and materials you create specifically for SJK Mentorsy sessions may be used by SJK Mentorsy for delivering the Services.
You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship. You have no authority to bind SJK Mentorsy, and you will not represent yourself as its employee or agent.
You agree not to: share your account; misrepresent your qualifications; copy, sell or reuse Platform content outside the Services; use Learner data for any purpose other than delivering sessions; reverse-engineer or interfere with the Platform; make private payment arrangements with parents; or engage in any unlawful, harmful or unprofessional behaviour.
Either party may end this engagement with written notice. SJK Mentorsy may suspend or terminate immediately, including withholding disputed dues, where it reasonably believes you breached these Terms, misused your account, created legal exposure, or acted against Learner safety or interests. Sections on confidentiality, non-solicitation, IP, liability and disputes survive termination.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SJK MENTORSY DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; ITS TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FEES PAYABLE TO YOU FOR THE PRECEDING SIX (6) MONTHS.
You agree to indemnify SJK Mentorsy against claims arising from your breach, negligence or misconduct. These Terms are governed by the laws of India; disputes go to sole-arbitrator arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seat and venue Rohtak, Haryana, India, in English. THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM SITE USE.
Site content (including results and testimonials) reflects real but individual experiences and does not guarantee outcomes. We may modify the site or these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes resolved as set out in the Terms of Service.
